To determine the length of the Heat Penetration Wires, you will have to consider the size of the retort you will be using for testing, as well as the location of the Packing Gland installed on the retort.

TechniCAL recommends at least 10 feet of wire outside the retort between the packing gland and the CALPlex Datalogger.

You should make sure you have enough wire inside the retort based on the size of the retort and location of the packing gland.
