Data Collection
Conduct Heat Penetration or Temperature Distribution testing in real-time using CALSoft and the CALPlex datalogger, collecting up to 32 channels of data. Using CALSoft's collect module, you can see your temperatures and accumulated lethality values in real-time during the test. View the data using optional layouts such as spreadsheet, bar graph, or time/temperature graph.

Import Data
If you use wireless dataloggers or a different wired datalogger system, you can import those files directly into CALSoft. Export your data to an Excel of CSV format, then simply import or cut-and-paste your data into CALSoft. Once your data is converted to CALSoft format, it can be further evaluated using the powerful tools in CALSoft.

Ball Formula Caculation
Establish a Thermal Process using Ball Formula calculation. Plot data to obtain Ball heating factors and compare results of all evaluated HP data files. Easily assign Critical Factors to the process and then calculate the thermal process using Ball Formula. Process reports allow you to create a matrix of cook times for multiple Retort Temperatures and Product initial temperature ranges.
